Station Recommendations
Multiple Stations Provide Easy Access to the Venue
If you are traveling from other cities by Amtrak, 30th Street Station is the only recommended Amtrak station for reaching the University of Pennsylvania campus. It offers the most direct and convenient access to Penn GSE.
If you are coming from the Philadelphia region or the airport on SEPTA Regional Rail, Penn Medicine Station is the most convenient option, as it is right next to campus.
Suburban Station can serve as an alternative if your train does not stop at 30th Street, though it requires a short transfer to reach campus.

• 5–10 minutes by taxi/Uber/Lyft.
• 1 stop on the Market–Frankford Line subway to 34th Street Station, then a 5-minute walk.
• About a 20-minute walk if you prefer to go on foot.
Penn Medicine Station
SEPTA Regional Rail
• Most convenient for travelers within the Philadelphia region.
• Formerly known as University City Station.
• Located directly next to Penn's campus; Penn GSE is only a few minutes' walk.
• Ideal if you are coming from Philadelphia International Airport or surrounding suburbs via SEPTA Regional Rail.
